We believe that our future depends on the safe implementation of autonomous systems.

Havenshine Technologies, Inc. was founded by a team of entrepreneurial engineers in the Chicagoland area.

At Havenshine, we are focused on building a world where the use of autonomous technology is not a luxury for the few, but a mainstream solution for the many.  We want to live in a world free of job-related injuries, toxic emissions, noise pollution, and resource theft; a world where people have more time to focus on the stimulating tasks by making use of safe and autonomous technology; a world where machines work reliably wherever, whenever, in times of prosperity and in times of pandemic. Simply put, we want to live in a world where technology gives us back our most valuable resource: Time.

We started building this autonomous world by focusing on the landscaping services industry, which, in recent years, has been plagued with labor shortage, low margins, toxic pollution, and debilitating job-related injuries.

Meet the Team

Ilya Sagalovich

Mark Ritzman

Advisor | Attorney at Peregrine, Stime, Newman, Ritzman & Bruckner Ltd.

A resourceful problem-solver with a knack for creative solutions, Mark was drawn to Havenshine from his very first conversation with llya about the automation of lawnmowers and other off-road vehicles.  The concept of an efficient “green” solution to an age-old problem was what appealed to Mark most, along with the numerous opportunities for alternate application such technology presents.

By day, Mark is a Chicagoland-based attorney whose practice consists primarily of municipal law, corporate law, non-profit law and real estate and business transactions.  By night (and weekends), Mark is an avid outdoorsman, canoeist, husband, father and writer.  He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

During law school Mark earned his LEED Green Associate credential in order to better assist clients interested in “green” solutions and developments, which is exactly what his role as an advisor to Havenshine allows him to do.
