We are looking for a chief software engineer who will oversee crucial aspects of our autonomous system. You will work together with a talented team of engineers on ground-breaking technologies.

 

The ideal candidate will be a self starter, fast learner, with strong background in software engineering. In this position, you will have a chance to take your career to the next stage by planning and managing the technical development. As the company continues to grow, you will get a chance to build out the engineering team. This position involves meeting with customers and supervising autonomous operations.

Responsibilities

• Algorithm development: mapping, navigation, path planning, sensor fusion, safety systems, runtime tests, calibration, FMEA

• Embedded software, unit tests, and integration tests in C/C++

• Document code, processes, and architecture

• Data analysis from autonomous runs

• Participate in on-site reviews of autonomous runs

• On-site meetings with customers

 

Qualifications

• Experience working with C/C++ and other software languages

• Experience with micro-controllers and with Linux/Unix based environments

• Understanding of embedded systems real-time systems engineering

 

Bonus (Nice to Have)

• Cloud development experience, preferably in AWS

• Experience in Android and/or iOS development

• Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)

• Understanding of geo-spatial coordinate system

• Understanding of computer vision, SLAM, and machine learning

• Background in developing safety-critical automotive systems

• Background in cyber-security
