Alcide is running through the grave yard with Sookie, who had been shot, in his arms. He wants to get her somewhere where she can be helped, but he doesn’t know where to take her. All of a sudden a vampire comes up on Alcide, takes Sookie, and speeds off into the night winding up at Sookie’s house. Bill took her from Alcide.

Speeding into her house, Bill gently puts her on the couch trying to keep her breathing. Extending his fangs Bill sinks them into his wrist and then puts his wrist to her mouth trying to get his blood into her so that she will heal. As he is trying to feed her Alcide comes in. He wants to know if Sookie will be alright. Bill doesn’t know.

At the Moon Goddess emporium some of the coven is overjoyed at what Marnie/Antonia did, the other half is wary. Antonia orders Eric into a room so he can clean his face off. He goes willingly still under the spell Antonia cast on him. After Marnie shuts the door on Eric she orders her coven to join hands but they refuse. Tara stands up for the others. To quell the rising rebellion in her coven Marnie/Antonia tells them that they are going to make one final decisive strike at the Tolerance Festival set for the next night. Still Tara, Holly, and few of the others remained skeptical. They just want to leave. Some of them try forcing Marnie to cast a spell on her store to seal them all in until tomorrow night.

Sookie slowly wakes to see Bill hovering over her with Alcide standing back out of the way. But all she can think of is Eric. She wants to know where Eric is. Bill says that he doesn’t know, but as soon as he can he will send all the guards he can out to look for Northman. Alcide doesn’t get why Sookie cares about the vampires so much. He storms off finally ready to leave Sookie to her own problems.

After seeing Alcide carrying Sookie away form the fight between the Vampires and Witches, Debbie waits alone in bed with the TV blaring. Soon enough she hears the door open and close. Scooting down in the bed she fakes being asleep as Alcide comes in. he immediately strips down and climbs into bed behind Debbie. In the dark her eyes glow a wolf amber.

At Bill’s house Jessica is crying her eyes out to Nan Flannigan, who is waiting for the king to return, and she is forced to listen to the baby vampires incessant whining. Jessica goes on and on about how Jason wouldn’t talk to her. It’s enough to make Nan interrupt Jessica by mentioning how she would have thought she would put her career on hold and become a maker. But having had listen to Jessica whine and complain took care of any desire she had to make a vampire of her own. Jessica comes back by saying, “You are so not how you are on tv.” Nan only smiles, replying with a pleased thank you.

Bill leans against the door frame of his office wondering why Nan is in his home. She had the thought of going to ground in his home so that she would be closer for the Tolerance Festival that would be held the next night as more PR clean up post Russell Edgington.

Down underground Jessica, Bill, and Nan are secured in the cells and chained with silver. Nan wants to know, so she’s not caught by surprise, if there is anything else that she needs to know while they pass the day in silver. Bill tells her that there is nothing else except Eric is missing, again. Nan is shocked. Last time she heard Northman was sentenced to the True Death. Bill changed his mind at the last minute.

At his house Hoyt is sitting on the couch where he feels something in between the seat cushions. It turns out that it is one of Jessica’s CD’s. That leads him to pack all of her stuff away in a box where he labels it, “FOR YOU MONSTER”. Then he walks into the kitchen looking in the fridge for something. He misses the front door opening. Lafayette, possessed by a spirit, walks in carrying Arlene and Terry’s infant son Mikey and a gun. Hoyt doesn’t know hat to do. As he tries talking to Lafayette, nothing gets through and the possessed medium ends up shooting at Hoyt. He manages to escape outside.

At the Bellefluer house Jason takes the statement of Terry and Arlene where Arlene starts to rant and rave. She ends up tearing off the seat cushions which causes Andy to nearly freak out because he see’s his nearly empty vial of V-Juice. Jason takes a phone call from Hoyt.

Back at Sookie’s, still under the influence of Bill’s blood, dreams while her wound heals. In the dream world it is day light and her door bell rings. There, standing on her porch is Eric. She pulls him in the house and kisses him, but they are not alone. Another man clears his throat and there is Bill. It makes for a very complicated dream. Bill and Eric start to fight over who Sookie belongs to. Sookie wants both men to belong to her. Bill and Eric are both unsettled by this and immediately Sookie sets into them about how they hold a double standard. She wants them both to be hers and to stop fighting.  Removing the shear robe, Sookie kneels on the couch between them. Bill and Eric look at each other before the both sink their fangs into her neck. Sookie wakes up.

Tommy is at his brothers bar trying to leave a note for Sam when Marcus the werewolf, Luna’s ex, comes looking for Sam. Instead Marcus finds Tommy and has the younger brother deliver a message for him. Tommy has no intention of doing that.

Problems at Hoyt’s still continue to spiral out of control with Lafayette still possessed by the spirit and holding little Mikey Bellefluer hostage. Jason and Andy try at first to gain entry into the house, but it doesn’t work as well as they had hoped. Lafayette stole Andy’s gun. Then Terry tries. He nearly makes it half way to the house before Andy tackles him and with the added strength from the vampire blood is able to hold his Iraqi war veteran cousin to the ground with relative ease.

In an ally Debbie walks with a man who sells her V-juice. She is supposed to be recovering from her addiction, but what she saw with Alcide the other night shook her enough to make her need the V. The dealer tries to warn her and Debbie snaps. She lays into him asking if he ever drank vampire blood straight from the source. Of course the dealer hasn’t. Debbie knows what the pure vampire blood tastes like straight from the vein. She takes the vial of V and pays the dealer. In her SUV she drains the entire vial.

Jason is next to Andy while Andy rocks back and forth. Andy tries to apologize but Jason has heard it all before and doesn’t believe it. Then Jesus, Lafayette’s boyfriend shows up. Arlene called him. Jason asks a stupid question with Jesus giving him a strange look before going to confront Lafayette. Inside Lafayette sings in Creole to baby Mikey while watching the door. Jesus comes in and has to raise his hands because Lafayette points a gun at him. Jesus offers to help Mavis, the spirit taking control of Lafayette. Before he can help Jesus get’s Mavis to realize that she is in another body tat’s not hers.

Debbie sits in her SUV straightening her hair and putting a smile on her face.  She goes up to the porch as inside Sookie is leaving a message on Bill’s phone to call her when he wakes for the night. Sookie opens the door and immediately sees the Debbie from a year ago who kicked in her bedroom door. But the memory goes away as she invites Debbie inside. They sit together at her kitchen table with Debbie explaining, babbling more like it, that she doesn’t expect Sookie to be her best friend. Debbie only wants to help her. After a little more of a rant Sookie finally shushes Debbie and listens to what Debbie is thinking. Sookie agrees to let Debbie help her.

Having had everything he needed set up Jesus and Mavis/Lafayette sit at the table. Jesus puts his hand on Lafayette’s and see’s what happened to Mavis. In the vision her lover is holding her back from going inside to see her baby. The emotions are too strong for Mavis and she breaks the contact that Jesus has. It’s too hard for her to see. Jesus tells her that he wants to help her because she is in the body of the man he loves. Mavis relents taking Jesus into the kitchen and telling him what she remembers. She remembers her lover telling her that she couldn’t hold her baby one more time because he was already buried. Then pain, she was stabbed repeatedly with a knife. Mavis couldn’t watch any more and she just went somewhere else. She did see her body being buried. Jesus promises that they will find her and her baby. Lafayette/Mavis gives Arlene and Terry back their son.

Alcide shows up at the motorcycle repair shop where Marcus works. He wants to know what he can do to move up in the pack. Marcus is wary and wants to know why Alcide is having a sudden change of heart.  It’s because of Debbie that he is doing it. Having a better standing in the pack would make Debbie feel better, make her happier. Marcus respects that and asks that Alcide join him tonight so Marcus can talk to a shifter who he sees as moving in on his woman. If Alcide was with him then the shifter might get second thoughts about messing around with his woman. Reluctantly Alcide agrees.

Its night fall. Hoyt, Jason, and Jesus are digging under the tree where Mavis believes she and her son is buried. Jason climbs out and goes to his truck where Andy once again tries to apologize. Jason isn’t listening and tells Andy that if he wants to be helpful that he should turn on the head lights. Jesus, still digging, finds the remains of Mavis and her baby. The others all gathered around watch as the spirit of Mavis and her baby come through in a blazing golden light. Finally able to hold her baby again Mavis thanks Lafayette and Jesus, and all the others for their help.

The Moon Goddess Emporium is still on lock down only with Debbie getting Antonia’s attention so Sookie can sneak inside to get Eric. Debbie tells Antonia that she has information for her but Antonia doesn’t buy it which leads Debbie show her wolf eyes to the witch. Antonia, no intrigued, allows Debbie inside to talk. Sneaking into the back of the story Sookie goes through a window careful not to make too much noise as she looks for Eric. She creeps past the rest of the coven asleep on the floor and goes to a door with no windows that she could see. Opening the door there is Eric standing unharmed. Sookie tries to get him to leave with her but he won’t. Eric tells her that she should leave him. He had to do what Antonia wants. Antonia wants him to kill the king.

Having no choice but to leave Sookie moves away from Eric and back into the room. Only Tara stops her at gun point putting up an act of righteous anger while getting Sookie to read her mind. Tara wants Sookie to rush her. Sookie does and Tara fires off a shot that hurts no one. Debbie slips out the front door unnoticed while Sookie high tails it out the back.

After it’s all done Tara defends her actions with saying that everyone saw Sookie rush her. Antonia remains skeptical as she looks back to the front of the store. The werewolf is gone and so is her chance to use someone like Sookie. Having pressing plans for the night to attend to Antonia calls to Eric and gets one of the coven members to go with her. To ensure that the others stay put; after she leaves Antonia casts a spell on the store.  Being the first to challenge the spell Tara puts her hand on the closest door knob in an attempt to leave. Suddenly her hand is burned. A few others try different doors with the end result of them screaming in pain and their hands being burned.

At the hosting hotel for the Tolerance Festival, Bill and Nan Flannigan sit and listen to a girl talk about the loss of her sister and then how her sister comes home three years later changed into a vampire. The girl introduces her sister causing applause to break out in the crowd.

Back in bon Temps, Jason helps Hoyt with his door. They get it set and fixed so that Hoyt doesn’t have to worry about not having a front door. Then Hoyt asks Jason for a favor. He wants his best friend to take Jessica her stuff on his way home. Hoyt can’t stand to see her. Reluctantly, Jason agrees.

At the arranged time Tommy shows up to the motorcycle shop using his new Skin Walker power to impersonate his brother Sam who is out camping with Luna. Things go relatively calm until Tommy mouths off and Marcus takes grave offense. The werewolf starts off by hitting Tommy and then other enforcers of the pack step in to do the dirty work of their pack master. Alcide stands back and watches not entirely comfortable with what is going on. Having enough he steps in and tells Marcus to stop it. Behind Alcide another werewolf kicks Tommy and he turns back into his body. Marcus and the rest of the pack assembled are shocked. Alcide gets the others away and picks up Tommy carrying him out.

Outside, Eric stops in front of the three remaining sheriffs of Louisiana. He gets them to follow him. As they speed through the streets Eric has to stop and make sure that he is still being pursued. Seeing them Eric sets off a gain into what looks to be a dead end. Only Antonia is there waiting. She casts her spell bringing the other three vampires under her control.

Sookie and Debbie pull up outside the hotel. Debbie wants to know if there is anything else that she can do and Sookie tells her no that she should go home to Alcide. Inside Nan Brings Bill up to the podium. He barely has time to start talking when three of his vampires show up on the balcony with three of his guards and the guards are dead. Mass hysteria breaks out with people screaming and running from the room. Sookie comes in and screams for Bill.
