Walter and Bell stood at a computer talking about how he wants
to destroy the two universes to create a new one. He was happy
Walter was there to watch as they act as the hand of God.
Walter was speculating that this was the reason for a little while
now.

Peter and Olivia went to the lab to see Walter and Astrid and
could not find either. As they waited, Peter asked how she did
her Jedi trick, but she doesn’t understand it either. Jessica
called Olivia and said someone is following her and she wanted her help. Why would someone be following her? Could she be a key piece in the collapse? Olivia said to lock all the doors and they will be there soon. After the call, it was the observer watching her and she didn’t know he was in the house.

Olivia and Peter went to Jessica’s home in Quincy, MA. The door was open so they went in calling for her. Her purse, phone and wallet were on the table, so obviously she was gone. Why would the Observer take her? Peter found a hole in the floor that seemed to be a hole that was dug up and covered. This is odd, Can’t figure out if they somehow went through the ground or just cut out a section of the floor. Olivia got a call from Broyles saying that Astrid was shot, but is in stable condition after surgery. They all know that Walter is missing. After talking with Astrid, she said Walter thinks Bell is still alive. She said she was shot at the warehouse by a group of armed men who probably took Walter. (She was not found at the warehouse and an anonymous call came in for her location)She told them where the warehouse was and that there were strange noises there that she did not recognize. Peter and Olivia then decided they would go even though they would find nothing.

Upon entering the warehouse, they tried to figure out what the nanites had to do with collapsing the two universes. They saw the observer and ran toward him. Peter asked what he was doing here and he replied that he was not there on his own. Jessica then came out with a gun and told them to drop their weapons if they want to see Walter again. The observer couldn’t help because he was stuck, and it was the flooring from Jessica’s home. She went on about the plan to destroy the universes and to get rid of them. She showed them that the gun couldn’t kill the observer because he is too fast, but one that Bell invented was much faster. She then shot the observer with it and did cause him to bleed. Olivia tried to get her to stop so she would not kill the observer. As Jessica fired the gun, Olivia used her new found power and caused the bullets to hit Jessica and kill her. Again, the observer was stuck on the flooring and he said the technology was beyond them and didn’t know how they knew to cause him to be unable to move. How did Jessica get him there? Is she strong enough to move him…lol? Peter worked on getting him free by scraping the flooring. Olivia said she saw him get shot before, but it was in the future. So she is gaining powers and he was released from the platform by Peter. The observer left saying he hopes to get back to her in time. Peter and Olivia brought Jessica back to the lab and hooked her up to Walter’s machine to question her while she is dead. Nina came to help and she drove spikes into her temples with an air gun type device.

Walter asked Bell what he could gain from destroying both universes and he said it was Walter’s idea. The fact that Peter died twice was why he did it. He said that Walter asked Bell to cut the memories out of his head so he would not remember. So after time was going by, he realized Walter was right. Walter insisted he would not do that, but Bell said that he could deny it, but he has always been playing God.

Peter started the machine and asked where Walter is. Then as Jessica seemed to be acting a bit odd, they asked where Bell was and he answer was in riddles. Peter said he was on a boat. Olivia asked how Bell will destroy the universes and she was so frustrated by the riddles she grabbed Jessica’s arms and shorted out the machine. Olivia then realized Bell will use her to collapse the universes.

They told Broyles about Olivia and the energy she is producing and is the way Bell will collapse the universes. They believe Bell is heading to where the universes overlap so he will be safe to survive. With quakes being announced, they realize the collapse has started.

Olivia was sitting in a conference room when Peter came in. He tried to re-assure her that everything will be OK. She talked about how scared she was as a child and that nothing has changed since then. Peter told her that she is not alone this time. It showed a sensitive side to Fringe and kind of let everyone step back and take in all the events that have happened.

Bell told Walter he needed to see what was going on. When Walter walked to the window, Bell told Walter that Olivia was causing the phenomenon.

They found the location of Bell. Great, now how do they stop it? Walter
begged Bell not to do this, but there was no stopping Bell’s desires.
Peter and Olivia went by chopper and Peter said the boat was in their
location, but no one saw it but Peter. Nina said no one here can see it
because of the frequency of this universe is different. So it has already
crossed over to the other universe. Olivia however has the power to
jump between worlds. Peter can see it and Olivia can reach it. Peter
opened the chopper door and both Olivia and Peter climbed out to the
side of the chopper. They jumped off the chopper and Olivia made
them jump to the other universe. Peter did hurt his shoulder again
and they were happy it worked. They went into the ship and realized it was his ark. Bell was praying (sort of reading some kind of literature) with his eyes closed while Walter pulled out a gun from a display case. Peter and Olivia bursted in. Bell was disappointed that humans would be there, but then realized they earned the right to be the new Adam and Eve. Peter told him to turn it off, but he said he could not. He went on to say that every breath Olivia takes brings them closer to the end. As he was talking, Walter shot Olivia in the head and killed her. I was stunned!!! I did not see that coming at all, but kind of makes sense seeming Olivia was causing the collapse with her powers. So it was logical, but how can she be killed..lol? Peter was devastated while Walter held the gun on Bell. Bell then faded out into another universe or maybe somewhere else… Who knows? As Peter held Olivia, Walter told him what to do to save her. Walter cut an exit hole and then pushed the bullet through it. The wound then healed. I guess Olivia’s powers were the reason it worked.

Boyles got the word that the Fringe division was rewarded a fully staffed and equipped science division. He also was promoted to General and hire Nina to run the department. Walter and Peter went to the hospital and Aster and Olivia were fine. Peter told Olivia he found a house for them. They were happy and then she told him she was pregnant and he smiled and they kissed.

Walter was making toast when the observer came to him again. He said they have to warn the others that they are coming. Who is coming now? What you think fans?
